Artist’s Statement: I created a diptych of reflective photos from the harbor. It is an abstract of lines.
Ribbon of Outstanding Artistic Merit
Artist: Kendall Weaver

Artist’s Statement: Self Portrait Scan, This is a self portrait I made of myself by putting my face on a scanner. I experimented with the scanner and the position of my face several times before achieving this photo. Putting my face on the glass surface of the scanner gave the photo a surreal underwater effect that I really enjoyed— the contrast between the sharpness of my hair and fingers and the blurriness of the features further in the background adds an interesting and almost dreamlike effect to the work.
