Lucilla Warren (1943 – 2011) spent her early life with her family at construction sites in Arizona and California. Some of her most enjoyable years were living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, later reflected in her love for jewelry, lapidary and her eclectic collections.
During her professional career as a Systems Manager at the University of California Berkeley and later in technology development, she and her team were granted several technology patents.
Paralleling this, Lucilla had an active involvement with jewelry and fiber art. In addition to her personal artwork, she was a spiritual person, believing that performing good deeds and treating all with kindness and respect is the true path for living. She was active with the Santa Barbara Art Association, where she was a board member and editor of the SBAA newsletter.
Beginning in 2012, the Lucilla Warren Online Jewelry Show is named in her honor.
